Good Day my friend,
I enjoyed your list and agree with your assessment. Your post reminded me of a paper I had to write on Teaching as Vocation in a class. I will dig it out and share it. It gets to your idea, is a teacher born, or can one learn to be a teacher.

Good Day my friend,
I like your list. It brings out new ideas and makes one think about what learning really is. Learning is not just sitting in a classroom.

It continues throughout life, keeping your brain active.

Good job on Adding the Picture...it gets you on the Featured Link at the top of the Eduacation page.

Enjoy the Day!

Brick and mortar schools are like big retail stores with a store front that require employees and leasing space. They know they must have a web presence. So must learning go in that direction...however I do believe that social interaction is important before we get students that are addicted to only playing on their nintendos and who have not developed other skills.

I so agree. The goal of learning is to put knowledge into one's brain. However that is accomplished is O.K. with me. Brick and mortar schools are already obsolete because they have lost sight of that goal.

Excellent first post. I think that we are both in the same realm of education, and are looking at providing useful information.
Maybe we can collaborate a bit.
Give me a shout.
I am looking forward to reading more of your work.
Come visit me: http://theteachingbox.today.com/
